CBI questions Kanimozhi, Dayalu

The CBI on Friday questions MP Kanimozhi and DMK president M Karunandihi's wife Dayalu Ammal in connection with 2G spectrum scam money trail.

Both Kanimozhi and Dayalu own 80% stake in Kalaignar TV that was allegedly the recipient of a Rs 200 crore kickback from the scam.

It is to be noted that the Supreme Court has earlier asked the CBI to conduct a thorough investigation on the 2G spectrum scam. The questioning has come after this direction from the apex court.
