Rohit Sharma creates ODI record

Indian batsman Rohit Sharma has become the third cricketer in the world to score a double ton in ODIs. Sharma struck 209 off 158 balls against Australia, studded with 12 fours and 16 sixes. The innings also saw him surpass the record of the highest number of sixes slammed in an innings by an Indian. He now has the highest score by any batsmen against Australia and has become the second highest ODI score after Sehwag's 219 against West Indies.
