Two more cases of Swine Flu have been detected from Vishakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh despite control measures to prevent the disease spread.
Both the cases were registered here on Monday, health officials said on Tuesday.
A 23-year-old pregnant woman from Sabbavaram and 26-year-old man of Kancharapalem area in the district were tested positive. Both are undergoing treatment and would be discharged in one or two days, District Nodal Officer of Swine flu LBSH Devi told.
The pregnant woman is being treated at the King George Hospital's gynecology ward and the other patient at the government chest hospital in the city.
So far, five H1N1 cases have been reported from the district.
The first swine flu case was registered in the city in 2012 after a gap of one year. A 30-year-old man and resident of Marripalem in the city was admitted to a private hospital with fever and respiratory problems, where medical officers confirmed that he was battling the virus. Later he was discharged after treatment.
