Vineel Krishna appointed as PS to Jayaram Ramesh

The IAS officer R. Vineel Krishna, who was abducted by Maoist in February when he was working as Malkangiri collector, has been assigned with the portfolio of Personal Secretary to Union Forest and Environment minister, Jayaram Ramesh.

2005 Orissa cadre IAS officer, Krishna was earlier appointed as additional collector in Kandhamal district before joining as collector in Malkangiri district. Prior to the new assignment, he was appointed as Director of SC & ST Development Council.
