UN Media Award for documentary

‘The Enemy Within’, a documentary made for SBS Radio Punjabi, by Manpreet Kaur Singh and Sacha Payne, which explores the issue of domestic violence in Australian Indian communities has won the United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA) media award, given since 1979. A statement by UNAA said, “…..(the makers) displayed exemplary skill in bringing forward a full picture of the experiences of women in violent relationships”.
