UN Award for Polio worker

Martha Dodray, a front line polio worker from Darbhanga, Bihar has been awarded the UN Foundation award for “performing heroic work in protecting children from this crippling disease”.  The award is given to individuals, organizations, and corporations advancing the UN goals of global peace, justice, and prosperity. Dodray said, “I will strive to work harder and do as much as I can in this field”.
