That made all the difference

 

 

Ever since TSI hit the market, I have been cherishing it’s contents and it’s now become unthinkable to skip any issue. The real life stories of Kashmiri people (TSI September 6, 2007) that brought to light the roles of people like Showkat, Maqbool, Sakina and Majboor played differently in the Kashmiri society, was a good one. It’s not surprising to learn of Sakina accepting as coach of the Kashmir University cricket team. She must have braved the societal pressure for choosing the less traveled path considering the patriarchal nature of the society at large, but then as Robert Frost says, “....that made all the difference!”. So three cheers for the lady!!
