My day is incomplete sans you. Before anyone starts misinterpreting it, let me clarify that I am talking about the unavailability of BlackBerry services specially its messenger (BBM) for three consecutive days which is getting on my nerves now. It's only been a couple of months that I got my new BB (gift from Papa), but it seems I have been using it for years now. It really has made an impact on my life. I eat, sleep and breathe BB particularly BBM.

BB services first stopped functioning on October 10 and then again on October 11 and again today, heights ya ! Well, I am deeply saddened with this disruption in its services. I miss internet browsing in BB like how. I am so used to seeing my sexy white BB blinks red whenever a mail is received (regardless of the fact that it's from some matrimony or game sites or for that matter from any job site-well, this one matters haa!). Besides, I am handicapped now as I can't inbox my friends across the globe through BBM. I can cry like child for hours (sob sob!), yes, I so much miss my BBM tone (tun tun !!).

BB has changed my world completely as it has done to many. Over the years, it has become one of the necessities of life (with due respect to iPhone and other phones users). I fell I am cut off from the rest of the world now. Whether it's inquiring about someone's health problem or planning just a casual gathering at a friend's place or just to “ping” a friend with all those emoticons, I am seriously missing its services.

I remember one day my aunt shouting at me for overusing BB, when I went to visit her in Old Delhi.

You are suffering from 'text neck', my aunt said.

What's that? I curiously asked.

It's a kind of body condition due to the time one spends in hunching over one's mobile phone or any other gadgets. explained my aunt saying that she came to know about it through an article. “The affliction, caused by flexing the neck for extended periods of time, can be a forerunner of arthritic damage if it goes without treatment,” the article reads.

Seriously, I don't know why these doctors are in love with incoherent terms (text-neck, for instance). And I mean from where did she manage to read this article despite staying in Old Delhi with two brat kids to look after, I can only wonder. Yes, she hardly browses internet and is lazy enough to read newspapers although she is a doctor.

Forget about text neck and all, at the moment I am too disappointed with BB's problem. Only two days left to renew its monthly services, but this time I am thinking not to renew it for who knows how many days will it take to fix the problem.

They say, “The messaging and browsing delays being experienced by BlackBerry users in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Brazil, Chile and Argentina were caused by a core switch failure within RIM’s infrastructure.”

God knows, what do they mean by “core switch failure”! Incomprehensible. For dumbo crazy fans of BB like me, can't they just do away with jargons and let us just know in simple words how many days will it take to fix the problem?
