The ‘season’ed traveler goes now

Tahiti has a warm clime all year round. Though June-October is a good time to travel, June-August is also when Tahiti has the maximum number of visitors.

Start with luscious fruits, French wine and then an European cheese plate and some sea food if you please. Not to be missed is the delicious Poisson Cru, (raw fish marinated in lime juice and coconut milk).

Get to work

Take a luxurious cruise around the islands or jump onto a yatch for a little more adventure. Visit the lava tubes or hire a helicopter for a higher view of the green land floating on the azure waters.

Barge into Le Marche (the daily market) or the modern Vaima Center and pick up some French Polynesian crafts or attractive keepsakes like monoi oil or sarongs. The land of black sand also has black pearls which can be a worthy take-away.
