Render the powerful, powerless

Is it fair that powerful people are allowed to continue at their responsible posts until their cases are fi nalised? If the powerful know that they are not going to be touched until the pending case against them is fi nalised, they’ll exploit their position in twisting the case. I think the courts should reserve the right to ban the powers and responsibilities of the powerful and under no circumstances should they be able to scare the witness. To name a few, we have the case of Raja Bhaiyya and Jessica Lal where clout was used to stretch the case as long as possible. It makes the common man lose faith in the government and the judiciary.
