Ramanujan Award for Super 30 man

Anand Kumar, a mathematician and founder of Super30 received the 2014 Ramanujan Mathematics Award in Rajkot during the Eighth National Mathematics Convention. Kumar set up the Super30 in 2002 to give free residential mentoring to 30 underprivileged students to appear in the entrance exam of IIT-JEE. It was recognised by Time Magazine as the Best of Asia in 2010 and described by Newsweek as one of the world’s most innovative schools.
