Political will to fight terrorism

 

 

I really get inspired from your audacious nature which can be seen in your editorial ‘Why youth must join ...' (TSI, Dec 15-21). For long, all Indian citizens have been effusive regarding the change in our political system. A survey says, 80-90 per cent of youth don’t want to indulge in politics. In our system, we have great economists, gold medalists, lawyers, IAS officers etc, all of them are valiant but then where are we lacking? The problem is in our system, some of our leaders know how to put India on the pinnacle but the supporting party, under whose cradle they are stable, does not allow. The US has not been confronted with such atrocities because there are no barriers which work like a shackle for the ruling party, they do whatever they like and they did it after 9/11. But what about India? We are still getting a cup of terror every day.
