The History Mail from Sardar Patel to Jawaharlal Nehru was excellent. It provided an insight into the thinking of Sardar Patel. Nehru was known to have a soft corner towards the communists. However, this letter lays bare the prejudice held by the Sardar against the Leftists. It was very nice to note how he had put forth his opinion on tackling the Chinese problem. Very interesting!
