Nine including journalist held for terror links

According to police sources, Karnataka Police have arrested nine people, one of them said to be a journalist with an English daily here, for alleged links with terrorist outfits.
Residents of Jayachamarajendra Nagar in north Bangalore from where five of the nine were arrested late on Wednesday told reporters on Thursday that one of the men arrested was a reporter in an English daily, another a software engineer and third a student of computer science. They did not know details of the other two.
Four others were arrested late on Wednesday from Hubli, about 450 km north of Bangalore, sources said.
Interrogation of the suspects is on. A statement is expected from the Bangalore city police commissioner in this regard.
