No clichés for Kangy

Kangana Ranaut is fed up of playing psychopathic nutcases. The curly-haired damsel is now trying out ‘fun’ roles and has movies like "Double Dhamaal", "Tanu weds Manu" etc in her kitty. The actress is believed to be super excited about her upcoming film, "Knock Out", an adaptation of the Hollywood flick "Phone Booth", where she plays a journalist. Besides designing costumes for her films, "Tezz" and "Rascals", she also plans to don the director’s hat soon. Kangana sounds very much in control!

Arbaaz’s fury…

Known as a man of few words, Arbaaz Khan was found not exactly living up to the image. The actor/producer didn’t take kindly to writer Shobhaa De’s criticisms about his film, "Dabaang", his wife Malaika Arora Khan and bro Salman Khan, and retorted by spewing lewd remarks about her, and went as far as calling her a ‘frustrated sleaze writer’! We wonder who was being more harsh on the other...?

Family ties on-screen!

Dharma Productions’ next film, "Short Term Shaadi" is sure to attract huge amount of interest, for it’ll have father and daughter, Randhir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, sharing screen space for the first time ever. Inspired by "What Happens in Vegas", Kareena would be paired opposite Imran Khan and Randhir would play her reel life father. Mom Babita shared her excitement by stating that she can’t wait to see them together. For the film’s shoot, the entire Kapoor khandan is reportedly to fly down to Vegas. Now that’s a first as far as choice of destination for a family holiday goes…

No ‘super’ for this man…

While the world raves about superhero films, Ben Affleck seems to be least interested. The actor-cum-director recently turned down the deal to direct "Superman" reboot offered to him by none other than Christopher Nolan. Having won great reviews for his directorial ventures "Gone Baby Gone" and "The Town", Ben is surely being extra careful to keep up the success rate. We only hope he doesn’t find himself regretting the decision later.
