Remembering martyrs

I can assess the sentiments why such political situation continues in our country because a common man is forced to remain busy for his daily needs. In the present situation, the last verse of Pt. Ram Prasad Bismil written in Gorakhpur jail can still provoke our youths a lot. I am sending you that verse with its English translation. Please see that it is published in the next issue on the occasion of his Martyr’s day.

No politicians please

This is in reference to the Rear Window column by H.D. Kumaraswamy in the 10 December issue. Let this precious page be given to intellectual people as you did in the earlier issues, let it not be given to chameleon politicians. They have enough platforms to express their sugar-coated ill-conceived day-to-day changing thoughts and opinions which many a time goes away with the wind. Why then waste such important pages with meaningless thoughts of so-called politicians. Or why don’t you give it to your readers who want to express their views.
