Dada is the real king of good times

 

 

The Sunday Indian has again stolen the limelight with its cover story on the return of Sourav Ganguly. It was a good idea to conduct a survey and state the startling conclusion that a vast majority of the respondents would like to have him as the captain. Come to think of it, Ganguly has a commendable track record. Kapil Dev’s statement that Rahul’s captaincy is a throwback to the earlier decades is an ample proof. Chappell would do well to bury the hatchet. BCCI and the selection committee seem to have realised their folly by sidelining Ganguly, a move that has cost Indian cricket dearly.
