Beatling Nano?

 

 

Competitions are already brewing up for the pet project of Ratan Tata’s Nano. Volkswagen (VW), the German car maker has unveiled plans to come up with the original ‘people’s car’ the Beetle in India by 2010. The Beetle is currently manufactured in the city of Mexico and supplied across the world and is likely to come as completely-built units to India. . The German car major is investing 580 million euros to establish a manufacturing unit at Chakan in Maharashtra, from where it plans to will roll out its compact car for the Indian market to challenge the Nano.
