Along came a spider

 

 

Now a robot, that can take a beating and keep going. Developed by scientists from Cornell University and the University of Vermont, this new robot looks like a spider with four legs. The robot does not break down when damaged, as its eight motors and two sensors provide ‘redundancy’. Scientists claim that this technology may help in the creation of limbs that could help physically challenged people walk again.
