A silkworm does that!?!

 

 

The only domesticated insect in the world is the silkworm moth. They are no longer found in the wild forests and have been cultivated for a very long time, and they have even forgotten to fly. For the noveau biologists, silkworms produce silk (well, we said noveau!), while their larvae require a tonne of mulberry leaves to produce five kg of silk!
