A sensational expose!

 

 

Indian women have taken on different roles and excelled in many fields globally. The success stories of Indra K. Nooyi, Naina Lal Kidwai, Ela Bhatt etc. give an insight into the unparalleled capabilities of these extraordinary women. When I came across ‘Little Drops of Shame’ (TSI March 17, 2008), I was stunned. It is, in fact, a sensational expose; a whodunnit of the high profile Coca Cola multinational, which dared to discriminate against a woman. The work culture, seen to be prevalent at Coke India, is disparaging and deplorable. That Payal is fighting a legal battle against such gender discrimination, harassment and humiliation, is indeed praiseworthy. Kudos to TSI.
