1947: Tragedy or triumph?

 

 

Thank you for providing us TSI exclusive on '60 moments that changed India'. It is really wise to consider 1947 as partition tragedy rather than freedom triumph. R. Balashankar accurately mentions that Shyama Prasad’s death deprived the BJP of a towering leader. B.R. Ambedkar himself was an authority. In my opinion his belief in Buddha, one of the twenty four Vishnu Avtars, was not a revolt against Government of India or Hindu religion.
