The issue raised in ‘Playing with Gods’ (TSI October 1, 2007) is a controversial subject. The cover story is an extraordinary one as is the the art photo published on the cover page. In my village, even today, exists the belief that making a woman walk around the village in the nude at midnight will satisfy the Gods and there will be rain. Therefore, in a country like ours, the importance of God erupts from the roots of our tradition which cannot be played on the dice of politics. I really appreciate the efforts of the entire TSI team.
