March 15, 2012 15:19

First of all, congratulations to our Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Quraishi for yet again managing the elections with the least reports of rigging; congratulations also to Akhilesh for becoming an icon overnight for the Indian youth through sheer hard work.

Between the Indian Customs department and the Chinese "kidnapping" traders, it's the Indian businessman who is getting sandwiched!

February 17, 2012 13:10

The recent case of Indian traders being kidnapped in China has opened up a can of worms.

The steel story! Will Indians finally use Chinese labour to surge ahead?

January 27, 2012 16:14

I have very fond memories of a great patriotic politician of India (very few such men can be found amongst today’s politicians), Vasant Sathe.

Now, THE Americans want to shamefully ruin Iran through sanctions

January 22, 2012 16:54

Woodrow Wilson once said that, “A nation that is boycotted is a nation that is in sight of surrender. Apply this economic, peaceful, silent, deadly remedy and there will be no need for force.

An analysis of India’s pathetic 95th rank in the Corruption Index and its far reaching social impact!

January 20, 2012 13:12

Amongst the many critical predicaments that the Indian economy suffers from, corruption has been one of the biggest monsters, and thankfully the most talked about in recent days. Needless to say, corruption has corroded every delivery system

Go the Korean way… Make world-class products and campaign for national pride instead of against FDI in retail!

December 11, 2011 15:29

The beginning of a massive European collapse and the Italian case!

November 27, 2011 21:15

The cracks are already visible all across Europe. It was first Greece, then Portugal and Italy, with Spain waiting in the queue. The current situation of Europe reminds me of the situation post World War II – wherein most European economies and societies were in complete anarchy! Since the last five years, European nations have been facing major economic setbacks, which have been triggered by political mismanagement and have impacted their entire social structure to a large extent.

If we want a poverty-free India, every Indian politician must begin their career with a trip to China!

November 20, 2011 20:58

When I went to China a decade back, what I saw hit me very hard. I felt that if all of us in Delhi were to work 24x7 for 25 years, it would still be tough to convert Delhi into Beijing. That’s the China I was expecting to see when I went there again last month.

Do Americans want complete anarchy in the Middle East to justify their massive defence budgets?

November 6, 2011 22:08

After seven odd assassination attempts over the last four decades, it was on October 20, 2011, that one of the most successful Libyan leaders Muammar Gaddafi kissed the most brutal and disgraceful death.

Five successful years of being Passionate About India!

October 16, 2011 17:57

A magazine in 14 languages? Everyone even slightly serious about media – the seniors in the fraternity included – had genuinely laughed when we had bounced the idea off them!
