Unhelpful Indian men

Indianmen spend just 19 minutes a day on routine housework against the 703 they spend on personal care (mostly eating, sleeping and drinking) according to a survey released by the Organisation for Economic cooperation and Development (OECD). The comparison of statistics from most of the 34 OECD member countries reveals that Slovenia, Denmark and Estonia are the countries where men contribute most to household chores while Japanese, Korean and Chinese men are amongst the most unhelpful. The OECD said the data was taken from national time-use surveys from 2005 onwards, based on representative samples of up to 20,000 people. A 2010 survey also found that only 16% of Indian men reported playing an equal or greater role in household duties.
