Speeding tanker kills eight; driver, cleaner lynched

Eight persons were crushed to death and four others injured after a speeding tanker hit them in Salauli area, triggering angry protests by locals who beat the driver and cleaner to death.
 
The incident occurred on Friday night when the driver of the petrol tanker, who was fleeing after running over two persons, rammed into a house and the vehicle overturned near Mahakhera village killing six others on the spot, police said.
