West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday said that the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has expressed the US' desire to invest in West Bengal.
"The talks with Hillary Clinton have been positive, constructive, creative and concrete. She has congratulated the new government of Bengal and has lauded the way state government is performing," said Banerjee after meeting Clinton at the state secretariat here.
"They have expressed the desire to invest in Bengal as a partner state," she said.
Banerjee also said there was no discussion on the Teesta Water Treaty with Bangladesh.
