Anger against netas mounts

It is the season of venting angst against the political class. After a social media page titled “I am sorry I voted for AAP” made its appearance and the Haryana CM was slapped, in Kanpur a corporator was pushed into a garbage dump after months of complaints had not elicited any response from him, and in Mainpuri a SP leader was taken hostage for not fulfilling his promise of a road link and electricity supply. While the corporator Manoj Yadav (incidentally dressed in pristine white) blamed the sweepers for not listening to him, SP man Tota Ram Yadav- who enjoys minister of state status had to be rescued by a family member of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Mainpuri is incidentally a SP stronghold and Mulayam Singh’s Lok Sabha constituency.Looks like UP’s cup of woes is filling up.
