If you saw me, you would say that some exercise could't be bad for me, but I beg to differ. I have been annoyingly comfortable in my skin and more so with the fat under it! But the harsh reality is that I live in a nation that celebrates junk food and no matter how hard you try, you can't escape it. So I thought some form of exercise should be in my list of things -to -do. Also, this bug bit me a few years back and after a lot of motivation and contemplation, I settled on a jazz class. It was crazy fun...the perfect girl bonding activity. But if I recollect correctly, I never lost even an ounce. So this time, I had to go hardcore. I had to join a gym, except I hate the inside of a gym. Its so bland and boring...but those machines had to be befriended...there wasn't an option.

So I went in for a 3 day trial. I have to say,all those machines did intimidate me at first but the trainer said I just needed to stick to cardio training – basically the treadmill and the crosstrainer...those suckers make you sweat a lot. So, as I started exercising, I felt incredibly warm. On enquiring, I found out that they had set the temperatures of the air conditioning high enough so we could really sweat it out...Nice move! So I brought some cute little workout clothes so I could feel sexy while I actually got there. I am psychologically messed up!But in all honesty its not that bad beacuse each machine has an audio visual display where you can watch tv, watch movies or simply listen to your music.Thank god for my love for movies, I go back each day not so much for the exercise but to get that one hour of unadultrated movie time...And if, in the process I lose those extra pounds, then why the hell not...
