Woman injured in Konark fire breakout

One woman was reportedly injured due to the fire breakout at Konark temple in Odisha with half of her body completely burned.

Konark is a world herirage site and it's famous for the Sun temple.

However the fire broke out in the adjacent Navgraha temple of Konark.

The injured woman is identified as Kalyani Swain of Sadansha village. A teacher by profession, Kalyani had come to offer prayers with her family members.

During the prayer session, her saree caught fire and more than 60 percent of her body has been burned. She has been rushed to the Konark Hospital and later on shifted to the Cuttack Medical College.
