Wind from the woods Ameesha’s figure is a treat!

Ameesha Patel believes in having her cake and eating it too! What with keeping in shape being a pre-requisite to survival in Bolllywood, the lady certainly wants to conform, but the only hitch is her fondness for junk food which she’s not willing to give up! Apparently the pretty actress is willing to pay the price just to keep those bhel-puris, vada-pavs coming in, even if it means hiring a new trainer or sweating it out for extra hours in the gym. What a sacrifice! Wind from the woods Not a dog’s chance? Says who?

Anne Hathaway has her dog to thank for her role as Jane Austen in Becoming Jane! The 24-year old star of Princess Diaries is sure that she could never have imagined bagging the role with her stereotyped prim ’n propah image. But when her doggy got sick and kept her up all night at a hotel, her consequent tart mood the next morning let the director see an ‘alternate’ side of hers! Well, if Anne ends up winning an Oscar for this one, we already know who’s going to be on top of that thank you list! Wind from the woods Time-out pizza(zz)!

Tom Cruise has been the perfect family man lately! Although loaded with the packed schedule of his upcoming project, the war drama Valkyrie, he still managed to squeeze in time to take his family out for a pizza party with friends. And this wasn’t just another outing to the local pizza joint, but one of the-whole-hog sessions with the jet-skis and yachts around the blue waters of Sardinia. While a TomKat party in the Mediterranean until mid night would certainly raise eyebrows, one would probably lose his mind wondering what his ideal location for a snooker party would be! Wind from the woods Walking on trouble!

What most girls crave to own, is what Sarah Jessica Parker dreads – stilettos! Required to sport them in her film and television projects, the 42 year old Sex and the City star has reportedly had her fill of them! Sadly Jessica might have to contend with some more pinched toes and back aches when the making of the movie version of the popular television series commences. No wonder that Sarah isn’t really looking forward to it. One thing’s for sure, Parker would never have fancied the glass slipper tales of Cinderella! Wind from the woods Heigl finds a higher calling!

Katherine Heigl must be on cloud nine with her recent flick Knocked Up receiving good reviews but she is certainly not one to be easily satisfied! Joining the league of the rare few who juggle Hollywood action as well as production, including J Depp and W Smith, the Grey’s Anatomy star looks sure she’s ready for a role behind the cameras too for a change. Planning to tag her mom cum manager along to form her very own production company, Heigl has reportedly charted out an action-comedy for her first steps as producer. And with mommy watching over, she shouldn’t go too wrong right?! Wind from the woods Payback time!

Riteish Deshmukh may not be one of the larger-than-life stars in Bollywood but no one can deny the talent reservoir that the boy is. Finding a foothold in the industry was not quite a cake-walk, having to pit himself against bigger star kin. He first grabbed the attention of audiences with his performances in Masti and later in Darna Zaroori Hai. Since then he has proved his versatility with his hearty accomplishment of myriad roles, holding his own even against the likes of the Bachchans. And now starring in the super-cool looking Cash, here’s hoping Riteish will get to encash it good now. Wind from the woods Neetu looking to ‘arrest’!

That sounds like a first – a Jat-ranting female cop on screen! And the lucky dame who gets to doll up (actually the role shouldn’t require much of that!) for it is Neetu Chandra! After gracing 70 mm with Garam Masala and Traffic Signal, Neetu gets to don the uniform for playing police woman in One Two Three. And with the dialectical demands of the role, the lady we hear has been working very hard towards mastering the language and its phonetics, and say what, gestures! Now, now, aren’t we all waiting?
