Wiki leaks have changed the current scenario of the world. Events are running fast. Iran has agreed to carry on more talks to resolve its nuclear impasse. North Korea has dared the USA and its all-time supporter China by attacking on South Korea.
If you look at the events of the recent past before the diplomatic expose by Wicki leaks. Iran was adamant to carry on its nuclear program. Iran-North Korea-Pakistan nexus was a headache for the world. Some say that Wiki leaks document has embarrassed the United States government but as per Iranian President, Mahmood Ahmedinejad,
“These documents are prepared and released by the US government in planned manner and in pursuance of an aim. It is part of intelligence warfare and will not have desired political impact.”
Is Ahmedinejad right? Is it a US plan to create a front to attack Iran? Since long Iran and North Korea nexus have damaged the US-Israel’s interests worldwide and at regional level also. Wiki leaks have confirmed that the region’s Arab governments expressed even more anxiety than Israel about the Iranian nuclear weapons program. But as we know, Israel doesn’t want any other nuclear power in the region and it is trying hard to stop Iran pursuing nuclear weapons.
Israel knows that if Iran will be nuclear-equipped than Saudi Arab and other Arab allies of the USA will also seek a nuclear weapon and it is a good question whether an increasingly anti-western Turkey would soon pursue a nuclear weapon too.
Now, Wiki leaks releases show that nobody in the region wants Iran as a nuclear-powered state. Is America creating a platform to attack Iran? Wiki leaks has also revealed that since long Israel has been eager to attack Iranian nuclear facilities and it warned the USA that till 2011 Iran will have nuclear bomb if its facilities are not be destroyed.
It seems North Korea attacked South Korea so that the US could be engaged there and Iran could have more time to complete its nuclear programme. But after Wiki leaks expose of Arab states, which are also in favour of attacking Iran, Ahmedinejad has suddenly agreed for talks with the US and European countries.
If it was Jullian Assange’s intention to use information hacked from the US computer systems to protect Iran from the US military action, it seems that he has very likely failed at his own purpose. The leak makes military conflict between Iran and the US more likely, not less.
Whether these leaks are genuine or a part of American strategy, Iran may have to suffer more.
