Who says we are prudish!

 

 

The lesson for class ninth (pg 36) ‘CONCEPTION AND PREGNANCY’ describes sexual intercourse as very enjoyable and fulfilling and explains how it is done.

Class VIII students will learn about reproductive organs – as in how during sexual excitement, the clitoris enlarges and hardens; and how a hymen breaks during sexual intercourse – with the help of blown up charts of male/female organs.

Lesson on ‘PREVENTION AGAINST AIDS’ suggests, “Do not have sex, delay sexual intercourse till you get married. Use other ways of showing love such as giving flower, holding hands, kissing/ masturbating/other means can be used for fulfilling sexual desires.”

Lesson ‘TIPS FOR SEXUAL DECISION MAKING’(pg 219) clearly mentions that there is no right age for having sex!

YUVA also mentions (pg 133), “Most students maybe unfamiliar with the word ‘Masturbation’. They have heard it called ‘touching yourself’, ‘self-abuse’, or more commonly among the boys, the slang term ‘Jacking off’!”

Also (pg 265), the class XII teacher has been asked to pass rolled condoms and loops around the class.
