Your cover feature “Justice uninterrupted” (TSI, Aug 16-22) was a very interesting read. We are all aware of the rate of crime in our country, where murders and rapes and frauds happen everyday. And while most of these cases never reach the judiciary, the ones which do are left unattended or pending. People are kept waiting as verdicts take over a decade to come out. But in this darkness we find a gem in the form of Justice K. Chandru. 54,000 judgments in four years!... I thought I was being fooled. But this article opened my eyes. Our Constitution provides a judge with lots of power, but the real power is within a man himself. I bow down with all my respects to Lord K. Chandru. Congratulations to N. Asokan for this beautiful story.
