One film introduces them and brings them close, and another leads to a relationship. And after a gap of few movies we hear the news of their break up. There has been a never ending melodrama of such stories in Bollywood. In last hundred years of cinema, there have been several break up stories, and the media highlights them even more because of their celebrity status. TSI brings together few such famous Bollywood break up stories.

Konkana Sen and Ranvir Shorey:If rumours are to be believed than Konkona Sen Sharma and husband Ranvir Shorey, who got married in a private ceremony two years back are likely to split as their marriage seems beyond repair. It seems that the couple tried to mend bridges but their efforts failed. They had started dating in 2007 and have a one and half year old son, Haroon.

Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea:Bollywood's bengali bombshell Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea started dating after their succesful thriller flick Raaz in 1996. The relationship came to a halt as Bipasha moved on with beau John Abraham. Though Bips and Dino dated and split ages ago but they didn't let that affect their friendship. The duo has been known to stay in touch even after their breakup. Recently, the media spotted them at the screening of Raaz 3, which stars Bipasha. Bipasha Basu & John Abraham:Bipasha Basu began to date her co-star John Abraham during the shooting of Jism. They started off as a publicity stunt for Mahesh Bhatt's film, which soon turned into a reality when Bipasha split with her long time boyfriend Dino. Bips and John were in a relationship till early 2011 when the couple officially broke off. While together, the two were often referred to as a supercouple in the Indian media. It is alleged that the biggest reason of their split was John’s disregard for commitment. Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia:Rajesh Khanna married actress Dimple Kapadia in March 1973. Dimple Kapadia was only 16 year old, 15 years younger to Rajesh Khanna. Their wedding took place six months before the release of Dimple Kapadia's debut film Bobby. But the marriage did not last long and the couple split in 1984, but they were never divorced. It has been said that Rajesh Khanna never allowed Dimple to work in films. Initially, even Dimple agreed and sacrificed her career for the family and started taking care of their two daughters Twinkle and Rinkie. Aishwarya Rai & Salman Khan:The next biggest break up is of Salman and Aishwarya, which made news headlines. Their romance was at its peak during the making of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam but the relationship didn't last long. Their love story started as Romeo and Juliet's story but ended up in the most controversial manner. Aish even accused Salman for harassing her both mentally and physically, and finally they broke off. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif:The most happening break up was of Salman and Katrina. It is said that they both were good to each other until one day Salman admitted that he and Katrina have indeed parted ways. He did not specify the reason for his break-up from Katrina and till present they are good friends.

Shahid Kapoor & Kareena Kapoor:The hottest one on the list is Shahid and Kareena's break up story. They hooked up with a bang and broke up with a crash! Kareena and Shahid fell in love in the shoots of Fida in 2004. Kareena and Shahid were in a live-in-relationship for three years and separated during Jab We Met, which was the only superhit movie of the couple. Ranbir Kapoor & Deepika Padukone:Ranbir, famous as cassanova, broke up with Bollywood hottie Deepika after a sudden fight during a movie shoot.
