The real star

Kamal Hassan is true to himself and his values. In a world where film actors barge into politics just to pamper their ego, his freshness is still intact. Sadly, our film stars believe that being a reel hero is a step forward to become a real hero. Most of them make a mockery of the word 'politician'. Their egos are not satisfied and they join rallies to attract crowds for conniving ministers. Unfortunately, in a country like India, our biggest icons are movie stars. We confuse them with real heroes and forget that they are just actors who get paid to act. For an actor, massive crowds are always a boost because they carry their reel lives into reality. Sometimes the makeup in life has to come off and it's important that actors who want to be politicians realise the reality at the right time. Kamal Hassan has been an actor first and sadly in a 'masala formula system,' his real talent will always be subdued. We have superstars but no actors. Kamal Hassan is an actor first.
