The effect of assassinations

The cover story on assassinations (TSI, Nov 2-8) was apt as they have never affected India's development. Every time such incident has occurred we have been able to stand up and move towards the goals set up by our assassinated leaders. But on the other hand, whenever a leader is assassinated, the outcome for some days is really dangerous. We love our leaders so much that we show itby destroying our own public property and sometimes a particular community is targeted because of the assassination. Pakistan and Bangladesh have thrown back every time an assassination happened. But India has been quite an exception to other Asian countries.
