Soldiers vote: worth a salute!

 

 

Referring “Soldiers vote for first time” (TSI, May 18–24, 2009), I would like to comment that indeed this is a fulfilment of a long pending requirement to that extent a good job done by the Government. However, effort also be made so that the franchise can be utilised by all ranks irrespective of their location and nature of terrain. For this purpose, the assistance from the defence department may prove appropriate and effective.
