Show tainted politicos the door

 

 

Refer to “A Succession of No Trust Votes” (TSI July 27). That convicted MPs are eligible to vote in the Parliament is a mockery of the Constitution. There should be a Constitutional amendment that debars any person who is chargesheeted for a criminal offence to vote/contest any elections to Parliament/ State Assembly, etc., till they are acquitted by the courts of law. Once convicted, they should be made ineligible to contest elections and hold public offices for the rest of their lives.
