Don’t fret too much if you are hassled by the thundering noise made by aircraft flying overhead. MIT and Cambridge University are collaborating on a hush-hush project to usher in the era of environmental friendly and silent aircraft that will whisper across the sky. The conceptual designs were recently unveiled by the joint research team. Promising to be far more more fuel efficient, the proposed plane with a 215 passenger capacity will use 25% less fuel than conventional jet aircraft in a typical flight under normal flight conditions
