Security fears linger on

 

 

This refers to 'Born on 26/11' (TSI, Nov 23-29). Last year on 26/11 entire nation went numb because of the ruthless nature of the attacks and the precision in its execution that left the financial capital gasping for breath. But in retrospect, it seems that we didn't learn any lessons. Although we can't say that we are safer than before but fortunately there has not been a single terrorist attack post 26/11. But we need to improve our internal security system and make it more efficient. Unfortunately we are still an easy target but we continue to live in a fool's paradise that we are safe. We cannot trust our corrupted and inefficient police force. Till now the government's response has been far from reassuring.
