Save my child!

 

 

You have rightly said that the bloodbath at Virginia Tech reveals the dark side of capitalism. I fail to understand what made Cho Sung-Hui kill 32 innocent people. Was it ragging? People face abuse and humiliation in the name of ragging and students indulge in it for sadistic pleasure. How can I insulate my child from such violence? One of my friends had to leave her engineering career at IIT Kharagpur, due to similar humiliation. It’s high time we spared a thought about this social evil.
