Sachin hits 100th century After struggling in 33 innings, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar on Friday finally completed his 100th international hundred. In the 44thover of India's innings, while facing Shakib Al Hasan, he pushed the ball in the square leg and simply jogged to complete his milestone, the most awaited century of his life.

But it was not the most awaited century of Sachin’s life; only the world cricket and especially the Indian fans were waiting for this day with bated breath. The moment he reached this milestone, the whole Indian dressing room stood up in jubilation, Bangladeshi players congratulated master blaster and the spectators were on toes to wish the little man.

But Sachin celebrated this moment in a very subdued manner. He must be a relieved man now but he didn't show it to the world. He removed his helmet, looked up in the sky and thanked god for giving such an auspicious moment.

On Friday, Sachin started scoring with fours only. First it was on Shafiul Islam's first over and then second four came on Mashrafe Mortaza's second over. With this four, master has already created a world record. A record of 2000 ODI boundaries.

Tendulkar overshadowed Mamata Banerjee's rail budget in 2010 when he had hit the first double hundred of ODIs and everyone wanted him to overshadow Pranab's budget by scoring his hundredth hundred.

By the time Sachin reached 50, he looked flawless and he was moving slowly but steadily towards the landmark. It was the third time in his last 33 international innings, when he moved into 90s but this time he didn't repeat those mistakes which have been stopping him to reach this magical figure since 12th March 2011 when he touched his 99th hundred against South Africa.
Sachin took just 65 innings to reach from 91st to 100 century despite taking 34 innings to reach from 99 to hundredth hundred.

This was Sachin's 49th hundred in one day international and first against Bangladesh. After Ricky Ponting he is the second batsman to score centuries in Test and ODIs against all test playing nations.

Sachin played 138 balls and hit 10 fours and one six for reaching this landmark. After completing his century he didn't last long in the middle. He was out on 114 by Mashrafe Mortaza. He walked back to pavilion slowly but with standing ovation from the crowd.
