The South Sudanese army is all set to start an operation to retake the strategic oil towns from rebels’ control that had fallen in the hands of troops loyal to former vice-president, Riek Machar. The assault is being planned to retake the north-eastern town of Malakal, the capital of Upper Nile state and a key oil producing district.
