ROCKY TO THE RESCUE

 

 

From down-in-the-dumps to overnight-trumps, both of Rocky and its creator, Stallone’s lives are just the dream druthers for any underdog on the planet. So, little surprise when, fed up of hitting headlines for all the wrong reasons all the time, a village in Serbia decided to place a bust of Rocky Balboa in the village in the hope of getting around their apparently accursed existence. Hit by devastating floods and landslides notoriously often, the village of Zitiste in South-Central Europe wishes to be touched by Rocky’s ‘one-in-a-million shot’ of a life. If that was all there was to it, then a statue of Kate Moss would’ve been sufficient for the f(l)abulously-endowed, ain’t it?
