Robbery in Ghaziabad

Two Delhi-based cloth merchants were allegedly robbed of cash when they were returning home from Ghaziabad.

"The merchants alleged that robbers stopped them last night at Nagla Modinagar road while they were on a bike and robbed them of seven lakh rupees," police said.

"A Gold chain was also snatched from a girl in Vaishali colony and two similar incidents were also reported on Sunday from Sahibabad and Modibagh areas," police said adding that unidentified bike-borne men were involved in all the three cases.

Investigation is on and efforts are being made to nab the culprits.
