Right to freedom

 

 

The article “Third is no consolation,” (TSI, Aug 23-29) speaks well about the plight and condition of the transgenders. It is unfortunate that India has not done much for these people. They are deprived of many livelihood options as people look at them in different perspectives. The government must give them job opportunities. There can be some reservations/ arrangements for the jobs for transgenders too. They also have the right and freedom to work for their livelihood.
