Arindam Chaudhuri's editorial (TSI, May 24-30) on Tagore seemed unusual at first glance, but after reading it, I felt an effort was made to strike a chord with the readers. Tagore is forgotten in modern India. It’s the need of the hour to rekindle the fire of sympathy and love in all human beings and there can’t be a better time than this to start a noble initiative of making this Nobel laureate reach the hearts and lives of all.
