Recreating a dream...

Cinema is a fascinating medium of entertainment. The brilliant can get overshadowed by directors who are simple, yet deliver what makes fascinating viewing. Farah Khan may not win an Oscar but it hardly matters. Om Shanti Om (OSO) does only one thing, it entertains in a simple yet quaint manner. I’m sure OSO must have brought much joy to Farah as well as the cinema-goers. Oscar cinema may tickle the minds of the connoisseurs, but Farah has brought a smile to millions of faces. At the end of the day, that's what counts. A simple director who may not have a fancy film school diploma but a mind to dream. To dream is fascinating and tobe able to recreate the same vision, is what matters the most.
