Researchers at John Hopkins University, in their study on throat cancer, have concluded that those who have more than five oral sex partners, are 250% more prone to be diagnosed with cancer of the tonsils or back of the throat. The researchers have reached the opinion that this is because oral sex may transmit human papillomavirus (HPV), the virus implicated in the majority of cervical cancers. While the new findings are expected to encourage people to always use condoms during oral sex, some believe it offers enough reason for men to even opt for the HPV Vaccine.
